Master of Science Medical Physiology

The Management and Science University Master of Science (Medical Physiology) prepares graduates to become medical physiologists with knowledge, ethical values, leadership skills, and lifelong learning ability. Students study core systems including Musculoskeletal, Haematopoietic and Lymphatic, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Gastrointestinal, Renal, Endocrine and Reproductive, and Nervous systems.

The programme includes Teaching Methodology, Research Methodology, and a Research Project. It also offers electives in Sport and Exercise Physiology and Environmental Physiology. Delivery is available as full-time or part-time, with credit hours of 40.

• A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
• A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
• Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii).
