Driving Dreams Sports Scholarship

The Driving Dreams Sports Scholarship is awarded to students with exceptional sports achievements at the State or National level. This scholarship is open to Malaysian students who have represented their state or country in any sports competition within the three years leading up to enrolment at UOW Malaysia. It is intended to support students who exhibit strong sporting leadership abilities while pursuing their aspirations.

The scholarship criteria include either National or State-level athletes with minimum participation in Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) or candidates who have emerged as winners in either National or International sports tournaments. To be eligible, applicants must be new students at UOW Malaysia in intakes and have paid the full enrolment fee.

Selection is based on actual examination results only, and forecast or trial results are not accepted. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview within one month after the application closing date. Shortlisted candidates must attend an interview; failure to attend results in disqualification. Only successful candidates are notified of the outcome after the interview.

The scholarship provides up to a 50% waiver on tuition fee for the duration of the program. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study to maintain the scholarship.
