Future Game Changer Scholarships

UOW Malaysia KDU College’s Professional Accountancy Centre offers the Future Game Changer Scholarships for students who want to excel in the accountancy profession through a Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA – FIA) or ACCA program at UOW Malaysia KDU College only. The scholarship provides tuition fee waiver amounts tied to the applicant’s results and programme.

The ACCA – FIA program tuition fee waiver is based on SPM / O-Level results. For the ACCA program, the tuition fee waiver depends on UEC, STPM, A-Level, and Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma in Accounting performance categories shown in the criteria table.

Eligibility requires that applicants be new students at UOW Malaysia KDU College in the specified intakes and have paid the full enrolment fee, and that the applicant pays the full first semester fee to apply. The scholarship is based on trial or actual examination results, and applicants using trial results must meet minimum programme entry requirements using actual examination results to receive the scholarship.

To keep the tuition fee waiver for the next semester, scholars must pass all subjects enrolled in the current semester at the first attempt. The scholarship value used must be repaid if the scholar chooses not to complete the FIA/ACCA program. The page also lists the subject enrolment per semester for ACCA–FIA and ACCA programmes.

• ACCA – FIA program: tuition fee waiver percentage based on SPM / O-Level results (8 A+ / A* or 9 As above: 100%; 6 to 8 As: 50%; 3 to 5 As: 25%).ACCA program: tuition fee waiver percentage based on UEC, STPM, A-Level, and Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma in Accounting criteria (5 points and 4 A+s or 4 A*s: 100%; 6–10 points and 4 As: 80%; 11–13 points and 3 As: 40%; 14–15 points and 1 to 2 As: 20%).
