High Achiever Scholarship

High Achiever Scholarship is awarded to high-flying, well-rounded candidates with outstanding academic results. It covers different value levels for Pre-University/Foundation Studies and Diploma programs and for Bachelor’s Degree programs, based on specified academic criteria.

For Pre-University/Foundation Studies and Diploma programs, the scholarship is linked to SPM / O-Level or equivalents, using A+ / A / A- grades. For Bachelor’s Degree programs, the scholarship is linked to STPM, A-Level (3 subjects), UEC (5 subjects), or other qualifications, with required CGPA and grade or point thresholds.

Eligibility requires applicants to be NEW students at UOW Malaysia in intakes and to have paid the full enrolment fee. For applications using trial examination results, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of the program using actual examination results to be awarded with the scholarship using trial examination results.

If the application is successful, the scholarship will be deducted from the 2nd semester onwards. All fees paid are non-refundable regardless of the scholarship outcome. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study to maintain their scholarship.

• Pre-University / Foundation Studies and Diploma programs (SPM / O-Level or equivalents): ≥ 8 A+ / A / A- = RM 8,000.
• Pre-University / Foundation Studies and Diploma programs (SPM / O-Level or equivalents): 6-7 A+ / A / A- = RM 5,000.
• Pre-University / Foundation Studies and Diploma programs (SPM / O-Level or equivalents): 4-5 A+ / A / A- = RM 3,000.
• Bachelor’s Degree programs: STPM / A-Level (3 subjects) / UEC (5 subjects) / Other qualifications tiered by criteria (CGPA, points/grades) with scholarship values of RM 8,000, RM 5,000, or RM 3,000 as listed.
