UOW Malaysia Excellence Award Scholarship

UOW Malaysia Excellence Award Scholarship is described as “the most prestigious scholarship offered at UOW Malaysia.” It provides full tuition waiver for the duration of the program in UOW Malaysia, and UOW Malaysia states that only a few distinguished students are awarded each time.

The scholarship is for Pre-University/Foundation Studies Program, Diploma Program, and Bachelor’s Degree Program applicants who are NEW students at UOW Malaysia in intakes and have paid the full enrolment fee. UOW Malaysia lists eligibility based on actual examination results for SPM, O-Level, A-Level, STPM, UEC, SAM/AUSMAT, CPU, IB, and Foundation/Diploma, plus leadership quality, self-motivation, and positive attributes.

UOW Malaysia states that the scholarship is based on actual examination results only; forecast or trial results are not accepted. The scholarship application deadline and submission of required documents are set at two weeks after the start of each semester on the listed dates. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview within one month after the application closing date, and shortlisted candidates must attend; failure results in disqualification. Only successful candidates are notified after the interview.

UOW Malaysia states that successful recipients receive a 100% tuition fee waiver for the duration of the program in UOW Malaysia. UOW Malaysia also states that all fees paid are non-refundable regardless of the scholarship application outcome, and recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.66 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study to maintain the scholarship.

1. Use the “Apply Now!” option for the UOW Malaysia Excellence Award Scholarship.
2. Submit the scholarship application and all required documents by the deadline, which UOW Malaysia sets at two (2) weeks after the start of each semester on the following dates: 23 January, 6 April, 2 June, 11 September and 19 October 2026.
3. Wait for shortlisting; shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview within one month after the application closing date.
4. Attend the interview if shortlisted; failure to attend results in disqualification.
5. After the interview, UOW Malaysia states that only successful candidates are notified of the outcome.
