Overview

The UOW Malaysia Graduate Research Scholarship is offered to suitable candidates enrolling in postgraduate research programs in UOW Malaysia. The stated value is up to 100% tuition fee waiver for the minimum candidature period of the program.

Eligibility criteria include having a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or its equivalent), meeting all prevailing academic and language requirements, and being a full-time postgraduate (by Research) student registered at UOW Malaysia. The applicant must also be recommended by the respective school responsible for supervision and assessment.

The scholarship is awarded subject to conditions: recipients must submit satisfactory progress reports at the end of every semester and may have the scholarship withdrawn after a warning letter if conditions are not met. The duration follows the minimum duration of the program the candidate is enrolled in, recipients must assist as teaching/research assistants during their study, are required to publish in International Indexed Journals (Master’s: 1 journal publication; PhD: 3 journal publications), and must sign an intellectual property agreement with UOW Malaysia.
