Vice-Chancellor Merit Award

UOW Malaysia awards the Vice-Chancellor Scholarship to current UOW Malaysia students. The scholarship is based on students’ academic results and additional attributes, with a stated value of up to 100% tuition fee waiver on subsequent semesters for the duration of the program.

Eligibility is for current bachelor degree students studying at UOW Malaysia who achieve a CGPA score greater than (or equivalent to) 3.75 after one year of study in UOW Malaysia. Applicants are also required to demonstrate ambitions to positively impact the community and society, along with excellent leadership ability, entrepreneurial spirit and other essential attributes.

Applicants must also show active participation in clubs/societies management, events and activities. The scholarship application process includes an interview for shortlisted candidates. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview within one month after the application closing date, and all shortlisted candidates are required to attend an interview.

The stated benefit is up to 100% tuition fee waiver on subsequent semesters for the duration of the program. The scholarship application deadline, with submission of all relevant documents, is stated as 21 September.
