Scholarship Description: The University of Sydney is offering Master of Teaching Scholarships for Australian and New Zealand students. Scholarships are available for students studying Master of Teaching (Secondary) in Mathematics and/or Science (Physics) at the University of Sydney.

Scholarship Provider: The University of Sydney is an Australian public research university in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1850, it was Australia’s first university and is regarded as one of the world’s leading universities.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MTeach programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the field of Mathematics and/or Science (Physics).

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship is valued at $6,000 per annum and is tenable for the normal full-time duration of the degree, up to a maximum of two years.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are open to Australian and New Zealand citizens.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident.
Applicants must be graduates or graduands of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
Applicants must be currently enrolled full time in Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Sydney.
Applicants must studying the degree to teach either Secondary:
Mathematics (single or double methods), or Science (single or double methods, specialising in physics)
