University of Derby offers merit based scholarships for student starting their course in September 2015 and January 2016. Scholarships are available for full time international (outside the EU) taught students in the first year of study at the University of Derby. These are to assist with tuition fees for the first year of tuition. Awards will be allocated on a competitive basis. This means that the higher academic achievement, the more likely it is that student will be short-listed for an award.

Eligibility: These scholarships are available to apply for once you have applied to the University. You must be a full time international (outside the EU) taught student in the first year of your study at the University of Derby.

International students (outside the EU) can apply for these merit based scholarships.
The University has a number of partial scholarships of £1,000 available to international students (i.e. non-European Union nationals) to assist with tuition fees for the first year of tuition. Awards will be allocated on a competitive basis. This means that the higher your academicachievement, the more likely it is that you will be short-listed for an award.

If you are successful, either £2000 or £3000 will be deducted from your tuition fees. There are also a number of individual scholarships available for particular courses which become available throughout the year.

Applications will be assessed in July for September 2015 intake and in December for January 2016 intake.
Only students who have received an offer from the University will be eligible to apply for a scholarship. The Merit-Based Scholarships at University of Derby in UK 2015 deadlines for receipt of applications for scholarship are: June 30 (September 2015 start courses) and November 30 (January 2016 start courses).
