Master in Training and Development

The Master in Training and Development (MTD) program at Kathmandu University School of Education develops professionals skilled in training for national development needs in education, development, participation, gender, and health. It uses adult learning principles with reflective practice and action learning to empower trainers in performance-aligned training. Students learn updated theory and practice in managing training cycles, designing materials, and delivering training. The program integrates contemporary training pedagogy and practical skills development, preparing graduates to meet evolving challenges in human resource development. It addresses the demand for qualified trainers in various sectors in Nepal with a one-year flexible duration, to be completed in up to two years.
