Holland Scholarship for Non EEA International Students

The NL Scholarship (formerly known as Holland Scholarship) is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is intended for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands.

The NL Scholarship is aimed at non-EEA international students applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at participating Dutch higher education institutions. Participating research universities and participating universities of applied sciences are listed on the page, with the note that the list of participating universities changes every year.

Selection is based on meeting the stated application criteria. Applicants must have non-EEA nationality, apply for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at a participating institution, meet the specific requirements of the institution of their choice (available on the institution’s website), and not hold a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
