About this program

The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Post-HND programme at the University of Port Harcourt is designed to enhance the academic and managerial skills of candidates holding a Higher National Diploma in engineering disciplines. Students study to improve their engineering competence in fields such as Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering. The programme lasts a minimum of three academic years structured into evening and weekend classes over three terms per calendar year.

  • HND with minimum LOWER CREDIT in relevant engineering discipline
  • Credit passes at O/Level in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, and one other science subject (Biology, Agricultural Science, Technical/Engineering Drawing or Further Mathematics)
