Bachelor of Arts Political Science

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman trains students in the discipline of Political Science. Students work toward outcomes that include essential knowledge of political science theories, subfields, and methods; designing research using a variety of methodologies; and analyzing historical and contemporary political issues in local, national, regional, and global contexts.

The program also emphasizes communication of scholarly knowledge to different publics and audiences, and practice of critical thinking and ethical conduct in teaching, research, and public engagement. The current program structure comes from curricular revisions, with the latest round approved, focused on incorporating changes in General Education (GE) courses into undergraduate curricula in line with the new GE Framework.
