Bachelor of Library and Information Science

The Bachelor of Library and Information Science at the University of San Agustin focuses on evaluating and disseminating print, multimedia, and digital information resources. It also includes communication skills for oral and written work, logical and systematic approaches to tasks, and the formulation of objectives, policies, processes, and resource management for future educational or organizational changes.

Students develop problem analysis and constructive solutions, including conducting reference interviews, using customer surveys and complaint logs, and evaluating current services and practices. The program includes teamwork and collaboration, recognizing computers and the library’s automation system, developing information technology solutions, and conducting significant research projects that benefit the library and the organization.
