Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas is offered by the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering. The curriculum provides knowledge and skills for future leadership and for work in the practice of chemical engineering. Students study within tracks and specializations including Biotechnology, Environmental Management, and Food Engineering and Technology.

Students gain preparation for design, operation, or management of an industrial plant. Graduates may also pursue teaching, research, technical sales, or entrepreneurship after advanced studies or special training. Within four years after graduation, alumni are expected to work either locally or abroad in these areas and to demonstrate contemplative, creative, and critical thinking, an exemplary work ethic, and commitment to the improvement of society and lifelong learning.
