The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas is offered by the Faculty of Engineering – Department of Electrical Engineering. Graduates are expected to practice in areas such as Power Systems Planning, Power System Operation and Maintenance, Electrical System Design and Inspection, Instrumentation and Control Systems, Electrical Engineering Safety, Energy Management, Emerging Technology, and more, including Technopreneurship, Engineering Education and Research, Construction and Project Management, Electricity Market, and Software Development.
The program is structured as a four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a multi-term schedule. The curriculum includes courses such as Chemistry Applications in Engineering, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Physics for Engineers and its Laboratory, Computer Fundamentals and Programming, Engineering foundational and elective components, and professional and general education subjects including Ethics and Science, Technology, and Society.
