Master of Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem Visits Ust

At the University of Santo Tomas, the Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem visited. Cardinal O’Brien shared details of the Order’s role in providing for the needs of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and supporting Christians in the Holy Land. The visit also included an introduction of Jesus Tambunting, who holds the rank of lieutenant in the Order.

During the visit, the Grand Master commented on the Thomasian community’s resilience in the face of wars, revolutions, and threats to faith and the University. The Cardinal’s visit was capped with a serenade by the UST Singers. Guests were given a coffee table book on the visit of Pope Francis to UST and the Lumina Pandit as University tokens.
