Eligibility Criteria
Domicile: Students with valid domicile/local certificates ot their areas are eligible to apply Areas included in the scheme are; Baluchistan. Gilgit Baltistan. AJK FATA. Interior Sindh. Multan. Bahawalpur. D.G Khan Divisions; Malakand. Kohistan. D.I Khan. Tank. 8uner. Swat. Shangla. Upper Dir. Lower Dir and Chitral distrtcts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Enrollment: All onboard students who are enrolled on merit m academic institutions located in their areas of domicile are eligible .The students from FATA. Malakand. Kohistan and Dora Ismail Khan, who are studying in institutions will be considered
How to Apply & Selection Procedure
Masters, MS/MPhil and PhD Students of Less Developed Areas
In order to nurture the leaders of tomorrow. Government of Pakistan has announced to reimburse tuition fee of Masters, MS’MPhil and PhD students of Baluchistan, Gilgit/Baltistan, AJK. FATA, Interior Sindh. South Punjab, Malakand, Kohistan and D.I. Khan. The programme is extended to students currently studying or intending to pursue higher education in their respective provinces/areas of domicile. The PhD students with above mentioned domiciles will be facilitated to study in any public sector university of Pakistan.
A candidate has to secure admission in HEC Identified university according to his/hef domicile.
University will be responsible to send the data of all eligible on-board and newly admitted candidates to HEC and funds will be released accordingly.

AS public sector universities. affiliated government colleges and public sector Degree Awarding Institutes (DAls) situated in Balochistan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (for FATA Malakand. Kohistan and Dora Ismail Khan areas only) Gilgit Baltistan. AJK. South Punjab and Interior Sindh
Financial Benefits
Tuition fee and other mandatory fees charged by the respective institutions will be paid for all students except for those admitted on self finance basis or who are already availing any scholarships.
