Qatar University Scholarships offer various types of scholarships to eligible students:

1. External Scholarships:
   • Sponsored by Qatar University

Eligibility Criteria for Qatar University Scholarships

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for Qatar University Scholarships:

• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English.
• Eligible Countries: Open to applicants from all countries worldwide.

Internal Scholarships:

• Meet admission requirements for the college and major applied to.
• Submit the final, official high school transcript for new admitted applicants.
• Utilize the scholarship in the same semester awarded (enroll in and pass classes), or it will be canceled.

External Scholarships:

• Meet admission requirements for the college and major applied to.
• Submit the final, official high school transcript for new admitted applicants.
• Utilize the scholarship in the same semester awarded (enroll in and pass classes), or it will be canceled.

H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence:

• Hold a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate.
• Attain a minimum average of 95% in the secondary school certificate.
• Be a secondary school graduate in the same year as the scholarship application.
• Scholarships are awarded only in the Fall semester.
• Utilize the scholarship in the first semester awarded (enroll in and pass classes), or it will be canceled.

Outstanding Performance Scholarship:

• Enroll at Qatar University.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.
• Complete at least 30 credit hours at Qatar University.
• Selection is based on the highest cumulative GPA.
