Master in Biomedical Sciences

The Master Research in Biomedical Sciences at Universitatea de Vest "Vasile Goldiş" is a full-time, two-year programme taught entirely in English. It is designed for graduates who want to understand disease mechanisms at the cellular and molecular level and engage in original laboratory research. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory techniques such as microscopy, cell cultures, experimental animal models, and in vivo imaging. Students complete an individual research project integrated into the dissertation thesis. The programme prepares graduates for PhD studies and careers as academic researchers or biomedical laboratory specialists, working in universities, research institutes, hospitals, or the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
