Scholarships of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Foreign Students 2013
The provision of the SR Government scholarships is a long-term part of SR development aid, which is a programme and project activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the SR within the framework of the international community. Act No. 617/2007 on Official Development Aid of the Slovak Republic , which created the foundation for institutionalized arrangements for the provision of official development aid (hereinafter the “ODA”) in all its forms was passed in 2007.

In order to ensure the coordination of the procedures of individual providers of the SR development aid the SR Government adopted the Medium-term Strategy for Official Development Aid of the Slovak Republic for the Period of 2009-2013 and the National Programme of Development Aid for 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the “National programme”) which in Point B.3 of the Resolution of the SR Government No. 19/2012 calls upon the Ministry of Education of the SR to carry out studies for accepted holders of the SR Government scholarship from developing countries at public universities.
The deadline for submission of online application form (available on the website: www.vladnestipendia.sk – the webpage will be active from 25. March 2013) for the scholarships of the SR Government for the academic year 2013/2014 is 30.5.2013.
