About this scholarship

The Kuwait Government Sponsored Scholarships are overseas study grants run by the Ministry of Higher Education of the State of Kuwait, known locally as البعثات الخارجية. They are for Kuwaiti students, including secondary school graduates and bachelor's degree holders, across the tracks listed below. The awards cover government-funded study at recognised universities. Registration is open for the 2027/2026 cycle, and exact dates are on the official page. Read on for eligibility, tracks and how to apply.
