Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation in Education City, Doha, offers generous scholarships to Qatari, resident and international students admitted to its masters and PhD programmes. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit or financial need during the admissions process, so no separate scholarship application is required.
Awards combine a tuition waiver with a monthly stipend. International students also receive a single round-trip airfare during their candidature. Housing is not paid directly by HBKU.
