To be eligible for the EPFL Master Excellence Fellowship, applicants must:

• Apply to an EPFL Master’s program
• Demonstrate excellent academic performance
• Show strong extracurricular involvement
• Be either:

1. An EPFL Bachelor’s graduate, or
2. A graduate from another recognized university

• Both Swiss and international students are eligible.

Fellowship Renewal Criteria

To renew the fellowship for the second year of the Master’s program, students must:

• Earn at least 50 ECTS credits
• Maintain an overall average of 5.0 / 6.0

• Apply to an eligible EPFL Master’s program
• During the application process, check the box indicating interest in the Excellence Fellowship
• Upload the required application documents
• Internal EPFL candidates continuing in the same field apply directly through their academic section

There is no separate fellowship application outside the Master’s admission process.
