Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo is inviting applications for Shoda Memorial international scholarship for Asian students who are enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course. The scholarship provides 70,000 Yen per month for up to two years. Students can apply till March 13, 2013.

Eligibility: Must satisfy all the following conditions: -Self-supporting international students from Asian countries who are enrolled or will be enrolled in the first year of the master’s course or in the second year of the doctoral course as of April 2013, and whose major is science related. -Living in Tokyo. -With good conduct, high scholastic abilities, in good health. -Not receiving other scholarships. -Able to fill out application forms in Japanese.

Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo is offering scholarships for 2013/2014 academic year.
Duration of award(s): Scholarship is granted for a period ranging from April 2013 – March 2015 (Two years).
What does it cover? Scholarship amount per month is 70,000 Yen.
How to Apply: To apply, submit Form 3 (Application Form for Scholarships by Private Foundation) directly to the International Student Section, send it by e-mail attachment to [email protected], or fax to 03-5841-8168 (Ext.28168).
