With a valid Student Pass, international students may work part-time during term time. They can also work full-time during scheduled holidays and breaks, as long as the work follows the terms set by the institution and the Ministry of Manpower.
The Student Pass is the key requirement for work during studies. Part-time work is only allowed when the student is not on a holiday and the pass remains valid.
After graduation, the Employment Pass is one option for graduates who have a job offer from an approved company and will work in a managerial or professional role. Another option is the Work Holiday Pass, which is available to students from certain partner countries and can allow work in Singapore for up to 12 months.
