About this program

The Bachelor of Computing (Hons) in Computer Science with a Second Major in Sustainability is a full-time undergraduate programme jointly offered by the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) and the Asian School of the Environment (ASE). It combines a computer science foundation with a deeper understanding of global sustainability challenges and solutions, structured around People, Planet, Profit, Practice, and Policy.

Students study a blend of core modules, electives, and projects within a full-time, 4 year direct honours degree. The programme culminates in an interdisciplinary capstone project that applies computing knowledge to a specific sustainability issue.

Entry requirements

Applicants must meet NTU’s undergraduate admissions criteria, which include:

  • Good academic results in GCE ‘A’ Levels, IB Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, or Polytechnic Diploma (or equivalent)
  • A strong foundation in Mathematics or Physics or Computing
  • Students with certain qualifications may receive exemptions from selected courses
