Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering with Second Major in Future Foods

The Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering with Second Major in Future Foods is a four-year, full-time direct honours programme from NTU’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. It combines environmental engineering study with concepts of food sustainability, supported by a joint programme arrangement with the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Biotechnology and Wageningen University & Research.

The programme uses the Interdisciplinary Common Core (ICC) curriculum: Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC) at approximately 25%, Major Requirements at approximately 60%, and Broadening and Deepening Electives (BDE) at approximately 15%. The Second Major in Future Foods requires a minimum total of 30 AUs of Future Foods courses (5 compulsory + 5 elective courses), with two tracks: an exchange option at Wageningen plus WUR electives, or completing the Future Foods requirements with NTU courses.

Applicants are expected to fulfil these minimum subject requirements.

• Singapore Cambridge GCE 'A' Level: H2 Level pass in Mathematics, and H2 Level pass in Physics / Chemistry / Biology /Computing
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Mathematics at Higher Level, and Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science at Higher Level
• NUS High School Diploma: Major CAP of 2.0 in Mathematics, and Major CAP of 2.0 in Physics / Chemistry / Biology
• International and Other Qualifications: Mathematics at Senior High School Level, and Physics / Chemistry / Biology at Senior High School Level, and Physics at Junior High School Level*
• Polytechnic Diploma: Applicants with relevant diplomas from one of the local polytechnics may apply for admission.

* Physics at Junior High School level is only applicable to applicants who have not read Physics at Senior High School Level.
