Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry with Second Major in Sustainability

The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry with Second Major in Sustainability builds a foundation in chemistry and biological chemistry and adds interdisciplinary knowledge connected to sustainability challenges. It focuses on connections between science, society, and the environment, linking how environment, economy, and society interact to technological innovation and communication with decision makers.

The programme is full-time and lasts four years. It includes core courses, an interdisciplinary collaborative core, second major courses, and broadening and deepening electives. It is offered with three tracks for the final year project and professional experience: FYP+PI Track (default), FYP+PA Track, and PI Track. The curriculum includes a final year project (FYP) and professional internship or professional attachment (PI/PA), depending on the track.

• Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level: H2 Level pass in Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics.
• Polytechnic Diploma: Relevant diploma. Subject to passing an admission test administered by the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass in Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics at Higher Level.
• NUS High School Diploma: Major CAP of 2.0 in Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics.
• Others (including international applicants): A good grade in Chemistry and Mathematics/Physics at the senior high school level, equivalent to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level or International Baccalaureate.
