Diploma in Applied Psychology Behavioural Insights

The Temasek Polytechnic part-time Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology (Behavioural Insights) builds knowledge and skills to apply psychological principles and processes to understand stakeholders and inform policies, products and services, and work processes. Students develop capabilities to use behavioural insights frameworks to identify and nudge behaviours across areas such as social service, public service, health, education, sustainability, and consumer behaviour.

Learning uses Facilitated Learning (Face-to-Face/ Online Synchronous) and Asynchronous E-Learning. The course runs as 3 hours/session, 2 days/week, and involves assessment through written and practical tests, case studies, assignments, and projects. Students complete subjects that include introduction to applied psychology, behavioural insights, analysing human behaviour using qualitative and quantitative approaches, and human factors and user experience, with real-world projects in the latter subjects.

A Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/ Work-Learn Technical Diploma or equivalent
