Diploma in Financial Analytics

The Specialist Diploma in Financial Analytics at Temasek Polytechnic develops skills in statistics, business intelligence, and data visualisation. You will learn to use tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyse real-world financial data sets and produce reports on business performance and financial analytics. The course outcomes include creating data visualisations for stakeholders, communicating data-driven insights with storytelling, applying financial services knowledge to Fintech business models, and building data visualisation models to support decision-making in financial services.

The course is offered on a part-time basis for 1 year. Classes run from 7pm to 10pm, 3 times a week, using blended learning. Learning includes facilitated learning that is face-to-face and online synchronous, plus asynchronous e-learning. To be awarded the Specialist Diploma, you complete 2 Post-Diploma Certificates across 4 semesters, with a certificate issued after successful completion of each Post-Diploma Certificate.

A Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma/Technical Engineer Diploma/ Work-Learn Technical Diploma or equivalent

Suitable For: The target participants are those with a Polytechnic diploma (or equivalent) in a business or IT-related course. Participants may be in the financial services industry and wish to upskill by extending their competencies in the area of financial analytics.
