Diploma in Ict Systems

The Work-Study Certificate leading to the Diploma in ICT Systems, Services & Support prepares participants to manage, monitor, and implement first-level helpdesk support for an organisation’s IT infrastructure department. The programme covers setting up, configuring, verifying, securing, and deploying networks and operating systems; designing wired and wireless networks with client administration; and applying fundamentals for high-quality IT service support.

Training includes applying systems security concepts for configuring, administering, monitoring, and responding to incidents over a network, plus using emerging network and system technologies to manage enterprise-level infrastructure. The course incorporates key areas of Cloud and AI, and the evolving IT ecosystem towards agile SysOps or DevOps. Students complete 3 skills-based Modular Certificates within an 18-month period and receive subject-based instruction using written and practical assessments, case studies, assignments, and projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• ITE Nitec graduates with GPA ≥2.0, OR
• Higher Nitec graduates from the list of feeder ITE Nitec / Higher Nitec programmes in relevant discipline or equivalent

Work-Study Programme Incentives Eligibility

• Work-Study Programmes sign-on incentives are extended to eligible Singaporeans who are within three years of graduation from the Polytechnics/ITE or the Operational Ready Date (ORD) for full-time National Servicemen
