The Diploma in International Trade & Business (Ngee Ann Polytechnic) prepares students for roles in trade, supply chain, and marketing. The curriculum focuses on digitalised trade operations and includes a sustainability lens. Students learn through classroom study and apply what they learn through options in Year 3, including a capstone project, a one-year JobReady Programme, or Business Electives.
Students study at weekly teaching-hour levels across Level 1.1, Level 1.2, Level 2.1, and Level 2.2. In Year 3, they can choose a capstone project option or a Business Electives Programme. The course also includes a signature overseas study trip and offers customisation via a six-month local/overseas internship plus Business Electives in emerging areas.
Graduates can pursue degrees in international trade and supply chain management and other business degree courses at local and overseas universities. Career opportunities include business development, international business analysis, international marketing, international procurement, logistics, supply chain planning, supply chain risk & resilience analysis, trade compliance, and trade operations.
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.
Applicants must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements for the ELR2B2-B Aggregate Type ( English Language, 2 relevant subjects and 2 other best subjects) listed at www.np.edu.sg/docs/ELR2B2.pdf. For students with other qualifications, please refer to the NP website for the entry requirements and admissions exercise period.
