Diploma in Psychology Social Services and Special Needs Education

The Diploma in Psychology (Social Services and Special Needs Education) at Temasek Polytechnic prepares you to support casework and group work in the community. You study fundamentals and applied areas of psychology, including special needs education, intervention strategies, behavioural management, counselling psychology, and group work facilitation.

Learning includes facilitated learning that is face-to-face and online synchronous, plus asynchronous e-learning. The course runs on scheduled sessions that occur 3 times a week, and each session is 3 hours. The diploma requires completing 5 modular certificates, with a certificate issued after each modular certificate.
