Diploma in Security

The WSQ Diploma in Security is a competency-based programme aligned with the skill standards set by SkillsFuture Singapore. It is tailored for security management professionals who oversee security operations across multiple sites or manage in-house security teams.

The programme includes required modules covering capability development, conflict resolution management, security operation compliance within the legal framework, quality assurance and audit for security operations, performance management of security personnel, incident response for security emergencies, and manpower planning for recruitment and selection. Training runs on a full-day basis from 9.00am to 6.00pm, unless otherwise advised, with assessments that may be held on different days after the last day of training.

• PWM-Security: Conflict Resolution Management (Manage and Resolve Conflict in Security Environment)
• Security Operation Compliance (Manage Security Agency within Legal Framework)
• PWM-Security: Quality Assurance and Audit (Manage Security Operations)
• Performance Management (Manage Performance of Security Personnel)
• Incident Response (Manage Security Emergencies)
• Manpower Planning (Manage Recruitment and Selection of Security Personnel)

Relevant working experience in the security related industry at a supervisory, executive or management level; or Successfully completed Security WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security

These requirements are not applicable to current students attending the Diploma in Security.
