Diploma in Semiconductor Technology

The Specialist Diploma in Semiconductor Technology at Temasek Polytechnic builds practical and applied skills across semiconductor manufacturing and analysis. Learners work with wafer fabrication, IC assembly and testing, process troubleshooting, cleanroom practices, and semiconductor production processes, including photolithography, plasma etching, diffusion processes, and contamination control.

The programme is delivered in a part-time format with 7pm to 10pm sessions, two times a week. Learning includes facilitated learning (face-to-face or online synchronous) plus asynchronous e-learning. It also includes hands-on training in specialised cleanroom facilities and laboratories, and study outcomes are completed through two Post-Diploma Certificates.

A Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma / Technical Engineer Diploma / Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Science, Technical, Engineering, Math (STEM) or equivalent
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
OR
A Post-Secondary Certificate with at least 3 Years of relevant working experience
