The Diploma in Sustainable Built Environment at Temasek Polytechnic is a Specialist Diploma that equips students with skills in Design Creation and Development, Green Building Strategy Implementation, and Life Cycle Costing and Analysis. It also develops Sustainability Management and Systems Engineering Thinking to manage projects with a focus on long-term ecological impact. To be awarded the Specialist Diploma, participants complete a total of 2 post-diploma certificates.
Learning uses Facilitated Learning with face-to-face and online synchronous sessions, plus asynchronous e-learning. The format is part-time with sessions running 7pm to 10pm, 3 times a week, and includes 3 hours per session. Assessment uses coursework components such as case studies, assignments, projects, and presentations. Students must bring their own notebooks for lessons.
