Diploma in Veterinary Wellness Care

The Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Wellness Care at Temasek Polytechnic helps you learn how therapeutic handling supports animal health, including physiotherapy modalities, alternative diets and nutrition for supportive and palliative care, and positive behaviour modification. You also learn emergency rescue care, post-surgery care, and dental nursing.

The award requires completing two Post-Diploma Certificates. Subjects cover Animal Behaviour & Enrichment, Animal Nursing & Rescue Care, Animal Rehabilitation Techniques, and Animal Nutrition & Complementary Care. Learning uses facilitated sessions with face-to-face or online synchronous delivery, plus asynchronous e-learning, with in-house practical sessions for animal rehabilitation using manual therapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy. Assessment is 100% coursework using written and practical tests, case studies, assignments, presentations, and projects.

A Polytechnic Diploma or ITE Technical Diploma / Technical Engineer Diploma / Work-Learn Technical Diploma in Science, Technical, Engineering, Math (STEM) or equivalent

A Post-Secondary Certificate with at least 3 Years of relevant working experience
