Graduate Diploma in Special Needs and Inclusive Education

The Graduate Diploma in Special Needs & Inclusive Education develops advanced knowledge and practical skills across developmental psychology, child psychology and intervention strategy, teaching and supporting children with special needs, and cognitive psychology. It is designed for people who want to create inclusive learning environments and apply evidence-based frameworks to professional challenges.

The programme is delivered as a flexible part-time course for working professionals. It runs for 6 months with weekend classes and flexible learning options. Assessment is 100% coursework, with no exams. It is awarded by Aventis Graduate School.

Admission requirements

• Meet any ONE of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university
  • Diploma qualification plus a minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
  • Candidates aged 30 or above with a minimum of 8 years' work experience (assessed case-by-case)
• General eligibility requirement: Minimum age: 21 years old at the time of application

Meet any ONE of the following:

• Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency
• Accepted qualifications: IELTS 5.5 or above, TOEFL iBT 46 or above, or equivalent
• Applicants who completed their qualification in English may be exempt — assessed case-by-case
