Master of Science in Green Electronics

The Master of Science in Green Electronics is a full-time joint NTU-TUM programme offered by the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). Students study micro-/nano-fabrication technology and theories in renewable energy, power semiconductors, and organic semiconductor devices and systems.

The programme includes laboratory core modules, core electives, elective modules, non-technical electives, a compulsory internship for 3 months, and a compulsory dissertation for 6 months. Laboratory core modules include Laboratory 1: Semiconductor Process and Device Simulation and Laboratory 2: Design and Modelling of Nanodevices, with additional modules selected from the listed elective options.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics. A good understanding of semiconductor physics, electromagnetic and organic chemistry (or electrochemistry).

Akademische Prüfstelle (APS) certificate is required for applicant with education qualification from China, Vietnam and India.

For applicants whose native language or language of instruction from previous studies is not English, a TOEFL / IELTS score is required.

TOEFL: Recent score with a Minimum 88* for the Internet-Based Test (TOEFL code: 7368).

IELTS: With academic IELTS result of at least 6.5.
