The Master in Theology of Marriage and Family is a two-year academic second-level program of ecclesiastical religious studies. It focuses on personal and professional formation for those working or intending to work in the Church and society in the field of marriage and family, including priests, consecrated persons, married couples, seminarians, and individuals. The program aims to introduce students to Catholic Church teaching on marriage and family, explain its deep anthropological principles, and address current cultural questions. The program is organized by the Theological Faculty of the Catholic University in Ružomberok alongside several church and academic institutions and is coordinated with the Vatican's Congregation for Catholic Education. Study is conducted mostly on Saturdays with 3-4 week intervals, including lectures, self-study, exams, pastoral practice, and online seminars, suitable especially for working students and couples with children.
