BA Musik Cembalo 6496

BA Musik, Cembalo is a BA programme with a focus on harpsichord within the study model of Major and Minors (or an individual study area). Students choose a Major study focus and may add one or two Minors to deepen skills from the Major or expand across disciplines. Alternatively, students can select an individual study area made up of cross-disciplinary opened courses that can be taken depending on admission requirements and capacity.

The programme includes work with both early and contemporary music. Students interpret and present music in both traditional and experimental forms through different ensembles and event formats. Study begins in the Herbstsemester and has a standard duration of 6 semesters, with a study load of 150 credits for the Major / 180 credits overall. Main teaching language is German. Music students can use Campus Toni-Areal spaces to rehearse and practice for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
