Bachelor of Science Programs

This Bachelor of Science offers study in Global Hospitality Management and Sports Business Management. It is delivered as a 3-year, semester system program with on-campus study and a professional internship. The total program credits are 180 ECTS (Swiss framework) or 125 US credits under the NECHE framework.

Admission follows three routes. Route A supports direct entry through specified vocational or baccalaureate qualifications in hospitality-related fields or sports-related fields. Route B supports direct entry with a gymnasial (matura-level) baccalaureate plus at least 12 months of related work experience verified and mapped to the program field. Route C includes a pre-Bachelor Experiential Year with applied learning and a supervised professional internship.

Every applicant must meet the academic requirements for entry to the Bachelor program. Three routes recognize different academic backgrounds and levels of professional experience.

• Route A — The Professional Fast Track: Hold a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in combination with a Federal VET Diploma (CFC/EFZ) in the desired field of study, or a specialised baccalaureate in an occupation related to the desired field of study, or a recognized equivalent. Related fields: hospitality, food & beverage, tourism and service for GHM; sports operations, events or athlete management for SBM.
• Route B — Baccalaureate + Experience: Hold a gymnasial (matura-level) baccalaureate, or a foreign qualification assessed as equivalent under international recognition frameworks such as ENIC-NARIC, plus at least 12 months of related work experience completed before BSc entry, verified and mapped to your program field.
• Route C — The Experiential Year: Meet the academic and English requirements but don't yet have related professional experience. Complete the pre-Bachelor Experiential Year, a preparatory immersion year of applied learning and a supervised professional internship, and build the foundation for BSc admission.

Required documents include: Curriculum Vitae (CV); Official academic credentials and final transcripts; English test score or approved exemption evidence; Professional experience evidence, where applicable; Identification document (passport copy); Personal Statement (300-word essay), signed and dated.

Test results must be issued within 24 months of the intended intake. Exemption with documented evidence for native English speakers, or after at least two years of full-time education in English.
