MA Music Performance Orgel 1268

The MA Music Performance, Orgel trains students for careers in conducting, ensembles, and as solo performers. Students study through a Major-Minor degree model. With the Major, they choose their main area of study, and they can select one or two Minors to deepen skills or expand them across disciplines. Alternatively, they can build an individual study area from opened teaching units based on access requirements and limited places.

The program has a standard duration of 4 semesters and an overall study volume of 120 credits for the MA, with Major / MA credits listed as 90 / 120. The main teaching language is German / English. Teaching is supported by studios and infrastructure, including historical and contemporary performance practice, a Contemporary Music studio, and facilities such as live electronics and multimedia, in-house audio production, historical instrument collections, an equipment pool for borrowing, and a library.
