The Master’s degree in Life Sciences – Bioanalytics (Master of Science in Life Sciences) focuses on biomarker analytics, modern molecular technologies, and diagnostic procedures. Students work with advanced topics such as analysis, detection, and identification of biomarkers, and the application of proteomics, genomics, molecular biology, microbiology, and in vitro diagnostics methods.
Learning combines core and elective areas, scientific project methodology, and data analysis and visualisation. The programme includes an eight‑month thesis with industrial partners, hospitals, or international research institutes in Switzerland or abroad, with an international option for a double degree at a partner university or for completing the thesis abroad.
Study is offered in full-time and part-time/work-study formats, with onsite and online learning modes. It leads to a Master of Science in Life Sciences.
