Master in Life Sciences Biotechnologie

The Master in Life Sciences – Biotechnologie (Master of Science in Life Sciences) develops advanced knowledge in biotechnology and related natural science methods. Students deepen their expertise in areas such as molecular biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, and bioinformatics. The programme focuses on biopharmaceutical products, continuous bioprocesses, process analytics and automation, and formulation and analytics of biologics.

Study is offered part-time for working students (part-time/berufsbegleitend) and also full-time. Learning is delivered through remote and in-person teaching, with work in modern, equipped laboratories. Students work on real research and development projects. The programme can include an international stay, and students may complete a double degree at a partner university or complete the master thesis abroad.
