Master in Life Sciences Environvmental Technologies

The Master of Science in Life Sciences – Environmental Technologies (FHNW School of Life Sciences) prepares students for responsible and practical work in environmental technology across industry, research, and consulting. The programme includes in-depth environmental risk assessment, with study of how pollutants move and act across environments.

Students complete a practice-oriented master’s thesis with an industry partner, at a university, or at a research institute, with a duration of eight months. The programme combines scientific training with practical application, including training in research laboratories and pilot plants in the Process Technology Center (PTC). Students can choose electives to tailor specialisations, including a focus on sustainable industrial processes.
