Master in Life Sciences Pharmatechnology

The Master in Life Sciences – Pharmatechnology (Master of Science in Life Sciences) focuses on developing and producing medicines, with in-depth knowledge and practical skills for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Students study formulation and administration of medicines, formulation of biologics, continuous pharmaceutical production, and pharmaceutical production facilities. The programme also includes interdisciplinary modules covering management and leadership, innovation and project management, and data analysis and visualisation.

Teaching is offered in English with learning modes of onsite and online. The structure includes module groups for the Pharmatechnology specialisation, elective modules from related fields, and an individual study programme built through interdisciplinary modules. Students complete a thesis in industry or research, with thesis work described as an eight-month master’s thesis. Practical training uses modern laboratories and production facilities for continuous pharmaceutical production.
