About this program

The Bachelor of Computer Science at Mbarara University of Science and Technology is a three-year degree in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics. It provides a foundation in Computer Science theory and programming practice, with preparation for further advanced study in Computer Science and related fields.

The degree runs with each year split into two semesters. The programme focuses on computing and mathematical theoretical concepts, the application of those concepts to computer solutions, and proficiency in system design notations and a system design engineering process to develop software systems and solve problems in Computer Science.
