Bachelor of Education Sec Educ Prim Educ

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary / Primary Education) at Ndejje University prepares future teachers through educational theory and subject specialization, curriculum studies, teaching methodology, child and adolescent development, and practical school-based training. Students also study educational leadership topics such as curriculum implementation and school development, alongside professional ethics and Christian values.

Course structure spans three years and includes modules such as Curriculum Design, Development and Evaluation, Educational Research Methods, and School Practice. Students learn competency in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and the integration of modern teaching technologies. The program includes research and project report modules and school practice for real classroom exposure.

Direct Entry

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 principal pass in a relevant subject

Diploma Entry

• Relevant diploma in Education or related field (Upper Second or Credit), recognized by NCHE

Mature Age Entry

• A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination

International Applicants

• Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
• Academic documents must be equated where necessary
• Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
